THE WANDERER

The WANDERER walks the Earth
but "strange lands and separation are the wanderer's lot...
a wanderer has no fixed abode; his home is the road."

he does not busy himself with trivial things
lest he draw down misfortune upon himself
The Wanderer is a stranger...he must be cautious and reserved

"he does not lose touch with his Inner Being...
he wins the allegiance of a trustful servant"
I Ching

who is this servant?  is it his anima
his Inner Divine Spirit?
"...in my wanderings among the mazes of psychic transformations [I] came upon a secret happiness
which reconciles my apparent loneliness...
I have found him to whom I am transpersonally related--The Self
that seems like the happiness of a secret love"
                                                 PAUL LEVY

Nonetheless, the wanderer must "limit his desires...he must always be on guard...
he is persistently conscious of being a stranger in a strange land"
                                                                             I CHING

"My kingdom is not of this world"
                                   JESUS CHRIST
