I am proud to be a child of the 60's
when principles held firm:
PEACE LOVE JOY TRUTH CO-OPERATION
my life had a firm foundation
albeit at odds with the rest of society
I paid for that my life-long thru
as did my family
I never sought financial success but fairness
my family felt not proud but deprived
from what they could see, their father was a failure
They knew nothing of War/Truth, Corporate Fascism/Success/ Greed
But today is worse
I would hate to raise a child in this world of deception
Where Corporate Values rule, drugs and materialism are rampant
President Dwight Eisenhower
warned of this sad state of affairs as he left office:
